Career Brief

I started my journey as a Geographer .I opted this subject for the liking that i had towards earth and its environment. While undergoing my graduation slowly i started realizing that Geography is much more than that and soon i also realized the immense potential of its tech enabled counterpart GIS (Geographic Information System). 

That is when my academic path got set towards pursuing this field and I completed my Post Graduation (Master of Science) and specialization of Master in Technology with Remote Sensing.    

I secured myself a career with one of India's biggest Information Technology and Consulting firms Wipro Ltd. where i took the bay steps into e-governance consulting and spent 5 years working on various kinds of Government projects spanning over 8 States of India.    

Thereafter I joined one of the Big 4's - KPMG in India and have been associated with it since past 8+ years now.     

Altogether, I have more than 13 years of experience in e-Governance Projects working with Central as well as State Govt. Departments within India and abroad.     I have experience of working as a Program Management Consultant in IT as well as GIS application in Government domain and have been involved in different kinds of policy formulation related to using GIS in Local Governments for planning and monitoring. 

I have experience in conceptualizing and implementing ICT based interventions in various sectors like Education, Health, Emergency Services, Traffic Management, Museum and planetarium, Solid Waste Management, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry etc.     

My recent stints have been as a ICT cum GIS Expert for 2 of the 100 Smart Cities of India.

I have very recently completed an engagement as a Project Manager for assisting one of the Govt. Departments of West Bengal, in preparing their pitch for the Bengal Global Business Summit 2022.
