My name is Anoop Aravind, and I am a geographer with close to 15 years of experience as an e-governance consultant. I have had the privilege of working on some of the most impactful projects that directly benefit society, and I have also contributed my own ideas and insights to these initiatives. This professional blog is a way for me to share my experiences and learnings from collaborating with various government entities throughout my consulting career.
As a geographer in the professional world, I have an advantage of viewing different issues or requirements from a unique perspective that others may not have. For example, I can understand environmental or human/societal challenges more clearly than a random person. The subject of geography has taught me how to analyze issues from multiple angles and make logical decisions using scientific and computer-aided tools like GIS.
